Meredith had a wonderful baby shower last evening at the Gibby home. We were out in the backyard and about 28 girls showed up. She was definitely "showered" with gifts and support. Lindsay (see her in the background?)flew in for the event - wow! I took the occasion as an excuse to order a Just American Desserts cake! Meredith is "nesting" in and getting ready - her due date is July 23. She is taking preparation classes, visiting with LDS Services, working hard and just plain gearing up.
Sammy put together a "theme" present(diapers & wipes) and offered the following poem:Little bums, big bums

The thing they have in common
Is needin' to be cleaned!

And helped me though I squawked
You seemed to understand my needs
